Mark Kelly Announces Endorsement from CWA Arizona State Council
Today, U.S. Senate Candidate Mark Kelly announced his second labor endorsement in as many days from the Communications Workers of America (CWA) Arizona State Council. The organization represents more than 4,000 communications workers in Arizona.
“We can count on Mark Kelly to put working Arizonans first in Washington,” said Shad Ercanbrack, Chairman, CWA Arizona State Council. “Mark understands that lifting up working people means taking on the flood of corporate PAC money in our political system, the same corporate interests that fund attacks on the rights of workers to organize. We’ll fight alongside him to stand up for working Arizonans and ensure they get the health care and retirement security they’ve earned.”
“Both of my parents were union members. When my mom was seriously injured on the job and forced to retire, it was her union that was there to ensure she got the benefits she’d earned,” said Mark Kelly. “I am grateful to have the support of the CWA Arizona State Council. Together we’re going to fight to ensure every working Arizonan has health care they can afford and that Medicare and Social Security are protected for this generation of workers and the next.”
