Mark Kelly Raises $4.2 Million in Second Quarter
Total comes from nearly 100,000 contributions, averaging less than $50
Today, Mark Kelly for Senate announced that it raised $4.2 million in the second quarter, exceeding its previous record-breaking quarter and bringing the total raised in the first four and a half months of the campaign to $8.3 million.
The second quarter total comes from nearly 100,000 contributions, with an average contribution of under $45. More than 90% of contributions were less than $100. To date, the campaign has over 85,000 contributors.
“This campaign started with a sonic boom just 140 days ago and it hasn’t slowed down. We’re proving that when you elevate Arizonans’ voices over corporate PACs, people respond, they want to be part of this mission,” said Jen Cox, Mark Kelly’s Campaign Manager. “We have a tradition of independent leadership here in Arizona and this outpouring of support shows that people are fed up and pitching in to elect a leader who will stand up for our state and what’s right.”
