In the News: Mark Kelly for Senate Holds Water Infrastructure Roundtable

May 2, 2022

On Thursday, State Representative Brian Fernandez and Yuma County Supervisor Martín Porchas hosted a roundtable event with local Yuma leaders to hear their challenges with water infrastructure in Yuma and why they believe Senator Kelly is the representative they need in the U.S. Senate.

Since taking office, Senator Kelly has been focused on addressing the most pressing needs facing Arizonans, which is why he has led efforts in Congress to address drought conditions in Arizona and secure investments toward critical water infrastructure projects. Senator Kelly also called for and chaired a congressional hearing to address western drought conditions after the Colorado river declared its first ever water shortage.
